Vintage House Lovers Wanted! 1920's Craftsman Bungalow in Silver Spring

There is much visible evidence from photos and the floor plan that this Bungalow is an authentic 1928 Sears and Roebuck (Vallonia Model) or Alladin Kit Home. Kit homes from Sears and other companies were popular and built from the 1910's to 1940.

The floor plan is open, airy and filled with the charm and character of original architectural details, high ceilings, original moldings and hardwood floors.

There is an unfinished Lower Level with walkout, plenty of storage and the original garage and garage doors intact. The fenced rear yard is private and has plenty of room for kids pets and gardening. An original old timey screened sleeping porch and large deck graces the back of the house.

A Charming King Sized Front Porch Welcomes you. The Living room has high ceilings, hardwood floors,a cozy Fireplace and opens to the dining room. The Kitchen has the orignal vintage pantry. A first floor bedroom and full Bathroom completes the main level.

The Craftsman Architectural Style Detail continues to the Upper Level with three bedrooms, good closet space and a second Full Bathroom.

This Nostalgic Craftsman Style House is just a short stroll to Downtown Silver Spring Shopping, Restaurants, American Film Institute, Parks, 2 Metro Stations and other ammenities of Newly Revitalized Downtown. If you love Vintage Craftsman Bungalows - This just may be the one!
