Doggie Adoption Day Event in Downtown Silver Spring, Md




On Saturday, September 8th The Whole Foods Market will host a Dog Adoption Event in cooperation with the Washington Animal Rescue League.  Stop by and visit with adoptable dogs and Washington Animal League Volunteers.  Who Knows . . .  You might just meet your new best friend!  The Silver Spring Whole Foods Market is located at 933 Wayne Avenue in Downtown Silver Spring.  This event takes place from 10:00 Am to 1:00 Pm. 

Oh, and by the way . . . . This Saturday is Sweet Saturday Sampling Day at Whole Foods from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.!!  They are offering customers a sampling of new, seasonal, and delicious recipes all around the store.

Good Grief.  Have you ever tried to park at that store???  It's worse than Rockville.  Love Whole Foods.  I sold a house in Potomac once because there is a Whole Foods there.  In fact, I sold a house in Severna Park once because there is an Einstein's Begal shop there. 

You never know what is going to sell a house.

I wish I had a Whole Foods closer to the house (the closest one is about 25 minutes away).  Did you go to the event?

That's my favorite Whole Foods, and also my favorite animal shelter!  Sorry I missed the event.  I might have found a little friend for Willie the hyper-active Labradoodle!

I did go to the event, it was super.  I wondered about the whole foods parking lot before I went.  It was Jammed, being a Saturday and being the same day as the Jazz Festival.  I was able to walk to it.  The Animal League had set up a tent out on Fenton Street in front of the Whole Foods Store.  Fenton Street was blocked off to traffic for the Farmers Market and the Jazz Festival on Saturday.
